As with all businesses, we have been hit by manufacturers' passing
a percentage of their business costs to their customers to cover
tariff increases. In order to help defray some of our increased fabric
costs, we are making small pricing changes as of January 1st:
-- FUFO5 Fridays are now blended into the regular Open Sews,
Monday through Friday, for $10 per session
-- Saturday Open Sews remain at no charge
-- Hand Sewing Wednesdays will be $3 per session

Hello! Welcome to our website! Although we are not open for online shopping at the moment, our door is wide open at our Rome, New York store, located at 111 E. Chestnut St. We have everything you need to make beautiful quilts, as well as quality supplies for needle enthusiasts. There's a great stock of wool and Valdani perle cottons and floss for those of you who love applique or hand embroidery or both! Want to learn how to sew or learn new needleworking skills or just want to have fun? Come register for our classes or come talk to us to schedule one-on-one instruction or just come in for our open sewing during our weekday business hours. And best of all, come in to browse our ever-expanding stock of quilting cottons from such makers as Northcott, Moda, Jaftex, Henry Glass, Free Spirit, Quilting Treasures, and Maywood Studios, to name a few.
